Stuff happened. I can't even remember what. I've gotten so bad with memory lately, that I've misplaced a lot of stuff. I don't even know where my phone is at the moment!
So I guess it'd be easiest to remember back to the end of October, when Beanpole and I celebrated our anniversary. We went to Oktoberfest like always do, and ate and hung out. Walking back, it felt sort if strange, because I no longer lived in the beat-up little rental house in that area– that weird place where it got either hot or cold inside, and the termite eggs and dust would sift and collect on the banisters and musty old stairs daily. Nostalgia is a weird feeling!
On Halloween I went to Beanpole's house and we hung out. Sometimes Beanpole is such a beanpole and doesn't know how to be a traditional host, so I have to demand him to make me tea or get out a video game. That reminds me of the time a long time ago when I went to his house and he made me tea, and he got out potato chips when I asked for a snack. My memory is getting better!
So we were all waiting for tricker-treaters, but only a few came because lots ofsauce has no real sidewalks or streetlamps, and there's hills steep enough to roll cheese down. So everybody just drives into the city to loot.
We lounged and ate candy, and after unsuccessfully playing Megaman 9, we watched Bladerunner, which wasn't as funny as I thought it was when I was 9, but it had even better moments since Beanpole was there to help provide amusing commentary.
I can't remember much about this month, just that there was a lot of ridiculous exams and tests and presentations. I had a bit of a lolita clothing craving which I fed (a couple dresses and stuff later), and I think that's probably about it. Looking at the community and lurking is still fascinating, though, because I still have no idea how all those girls have had the tenacity to obsess and lord over used frilly $30 knee-socks every day since 2006.
Don't you just hate it when you sit on your legs and they fall asleep? >:C

I got a call from the blood donor service, and my results turned up fine. I also found out my blood-type, which is A+.
My first response was to go and check a bunch of those crazy blood-type personality lists. I matched my blood-type personality description well enough despite a few things being rather off. Then I looked at the rest of the personality lists, and realized that these descriptions were carefully crafted to apply to pretty much anyone. Kind of like astrological signs. :C

Yesterday we had a big garage sale, so I was running around setting up clothing, toys, and electronics– slapping prices on everything. We managed to sell quite a lot, but we still had a considerable amount of stuff left over.
So my mom and I loaded up the van with everything and we went to the achievement house to drop it off. We also donated a nice metal clothing rack that we've had since I was 3, and we helped set it up in the store before the lady closed the shop up.

In case you didn't know, achievement house stores are like better goodwills, only they sell plants too. And they don't mark clothes up 20% their original retail price. Also they don't smell bad.

We then went down to the bay and my mom took me to China Buffet– where we gorged ourselves on delicious bao, noodles and meat. Actually, I was the one that gorged myself. I was so stuffed, I could barely move.

I did happen to find a loliable skirt on the way back home. We were driving past another achievement house, and my mom jokingly asked me if I wanted to go there. I immediately said no, until I looked up and saw this big frilly red skirt hanging in the store window. Then I demanded that we stop.
It was hanging with the costumes. There's lots of costumes in second-hand stores this time of year. I think most of these places warehouse the costumes that they accumulate throughout the year, and they don't put them up for sale until October; that way they can charge you extra.

I had a title for this...

Ahh, my school week is done once again. No more falling asleep on the lawn in between classes. Finally some solid sleep. Maybe.
I completely forgot to mention that I went and donated blood for the very first time last week. How could I not mention that? It was a substantial milestone for the reason that I hate needles poking me. There was one of those giant converted buses on campus in which you go in, donate, and walk out holding a free t-shirt and cookies. Well, not really free, but you know what I mean.
Tonight I finally decided to chop up one of my old hello kitty sheets for a loli skirt. It turned out pretty well, though I still want to put lace trimmed pockets on it. I actually don't have hello kitty anywhere on the skirt, which is sort of ridiculous.

Beanpole is back, and order is restored.
I felt all suffocated and uneasy while he was gone, which wasn't fun at all! >:C
I made sure to pounce him when he came in the door, and also I teased him a lot for revenge.
He brought me back a little wooden owl statue, and it looks just like him. It goes well with my wooden cat collection.
There's some sad new, though. Yuki died yesterday. She was a big fat, white fluffy budgie. I was bummed out all day yesterday, but thankfully beanpole was there.

What am I waiting for?...!

Only one call from Beanpole all week, and it was for 50 seconds because it was $2 a minute for him to talk from Mexico. >:C So what?! I've been called from Mexico by someone for a whole hour, and they paid it. Not that the person who called me back then matters or anything!
He said he'd be back Saturday night, but now it's early Sunday morning. This is dumb! Why am I waiting for him! He'd better not of gotten in a car wreck or anything. Dumb beanpole!

Beanpole is on a week long cruise... Now for a lonely week at college.

My sewing patterns showed up, but I haven't got cutting yet. The plan is to make a nice sweet lolita dress. I'm not too amazing at sewing, so this will be a long project. (I mean I've been working on the same pair of bloomers for several days. Can't get the hems even to save my life.)

I feel sort of dizzy... Proofreading essay once again. Something tells me coffee won't help.

I custom ordered a dress off of milanoo.com, but now I'm feeling all worried that black and red tartan will look horrible with white lace and apron. And that they'll keep the ribbon blue, further keeping making it awkward looking.
Oh well, what's done is done! I made a nice amount selling old textbooks and clothing on ebay, so this was my splurge. And I'd better just enjoy it for what it's worth.

We got a full-sized bed and box spring for Monkeyboy, recently. That's good, since his feet have been dangling off the edge of his twin size for some time now. At least he now can fit on it.

Lots of tomatoes are ripening on my tomato plants outside. Knucklehead is finally wearing different shirts, though he's still a grouchy hermit who won't come out of his room.

I'll just pack leftover pizza for lunch tomorrow. I don't know if I should take a shower.

First post on Catbot fashion:

Basically I got a ruffly shirt and a petticoat skirt and put them underneath some dresses on some clothes dummy. That's how gothic lolita style works. I bet you didn't know that!

I burned my hand draining potstickers!
It's, what, the second week of school? Things are moving too quick. At least for my english class. I didn't realize it was one of those cram courses. I stayed up all last night until 6 in the morn to do a surprise paper. But at least I had gotten about a 4 hour nap before that.
Every day Beanpole takes me to school, but he keeps hinting to me that I should learn how to drive. Probably because he wants to be driven around sometime. I know! What a beanpole!
It's hard to concentrate with my hand burning like this.
Oh yeah, my mom and knucklehead went to LA a day or so ago, so I've been sort of keeping track of monkeyboy and dad. But dad has been doing a good job with that.

I gave the following birds back to my uncle with the bird aviary: Gigas, Autumn, Harpy, Mercury, and Neptune.

I will miss them in many ways, but truthfully I am glad I have fewer birds to take care of.
When they came to me, they were all scraggly and beaten. When I sent them off this past week, they were preened and healthy; rehabilitated enough to be sent back into the aviary or given new homes.
But heck yeah did we need to free up our crammed living room (which was piled with boxes, bird dust, and foosball/air hockey table parts.)
Now the upstairs is very zen. There's blinds now and a nice big new rug under the furniture.

I kept Ayashi, because she's a FAT bird, and she makes cute chicken noises. *bwowk bwoowk bwowk*
She is currently living with Tsukasa, who was talking quite a bit this evening.
Ayashi must've helped him brush up on his vocalization skills.

Bird Count!
Birds we still have: Jupis, Europa, Froot Loop, Lemon Meringue, Yuki, Saturn, Agen, Season, Tsukasa, and Ayashi.

Hmmm... First day of classes. They were fine.

But tonight I wrote some weird letters in case anything CRAZY happens. (You know, Murphy's Law or something.) Like telling my family that I love them and to stay cool if anything happened to me. (Also how to get into my journal.) It felt really stressful, and it still feels like there's a lump in my throat. Now I understand why people put off writing their wills!
Anyways, I just need to put them in envelopes and label them and hide them somewhere they'd find if they were cleaning. So stressful feeling!

AGH.

Woke up early and took a family trip into town to take Monkeyboy to his doctors appointment. We managed to get him into our new vehicle somehow.
(He had completely resisted getting into it when we had tried to take him to go swimming the other day. He had laid down on the ground, and would not budge for anything. Not even with the bribe of a bag of delectable teriyaki turkey jerky!)

Yup. That's all.

Here he is. A few days ago, we found out he liked the word "creamy." We were talking about creamy chicken alfredo, and his feathers puffed up and he acted all excited. So now we call him "creamy chicken."
I also call him "little boss" and sing him his own version of 'Rock the Casbah.' (Which he likes a lot.)

Ah, last week I went to LA for a few days and had a ton of fun. My aunt flew down from Boston and we went everywhere! I went to Japantown and got some bento stuff for when I make lunches for college. (Ah, how extravagant of me...) Sealing containers, rice moulds, and pokemon-shaped sauce tubes. Stuff like that. I also got a oriental parasol. I should've gotten the lacy victorian one, but I didn't see it until it was too late. Maybe next time? (It was kind of pricey though. Maybe I'll just make one.)
I also went to Hot Topic in some mall over there (Yes. I am at least 200 miles away from any Hot Topic. That's kind of hilarious. I guess it's just because coastal California doesn't have many malls. Just outlets.)
Turned out I was about 6 years too late, and Hot Topic doesn't really carry bondage pants (or pretty much anything gothy) anymore.
But I managed to find some bondagey-looking skirts. How nice.

Also we went to see Oleanna. Which was a play about two people arguing and interrupting each other. Also, definitional raep. Such is fine art.

I went to the Getty Center to look at some Greek Artifacts (Looked long and hard. At a lot of statues, urns, vases, and jugs. The Greeks really liked mixing their wine with water. Freaks.)

And afterwards we headed over to the American Girl Place. (I still have my American Girl Dolls. Yes.)
It really reminded me of the 'Piffle Princess' store in Angelic Layer. It was kind of cool. But anyways they had a little museum for each American Girl– except Samantha! That's my favorite one, so I was pretty upset and left soon after.

Also a ton of celebrities apparently dropped dead in my wake.
Traffic on Thursday night was insane. Took 40 minutes to get out of the LAX area after we dropped off my aunt at the airport.

Also my aunt gave me bags and bags of designer clothes which she didn't want anymore. Which I am washing up, some to keep and some to sell. (Ah, ebay has no listing fees at the moment it seems. How nice...)

Septic tank has to be emptied today, also. Guess I should go help dig up the front yard. (Have to re-pot all my tomato plants. Urgh...)

I forgot how much I liked Rhapsody. (Apparently their name now is Rhapsody of Fire? Have I been out of it...)

I got a new bird! (Some time ago in fact. Man, everyday I am racing to change cage liners and chop carrots up. I'm becoming a budgie breeder. Or an animal hoarder.)

So I got him a new cage and keep him in my room now. His name is Tsukasa. He likes to snuggle and get his neck scratched. But he still gets scared when anyone reaches into his cage. Sometimes I see echos of Tsuki in him. He's not a Tsuki replacement, though, so I do my best to see and love him as an individual little fat bird. He's so cyoot.

I'll show pictures of him later.

Right now we're getting mosquitoes like crazy. At the beginning of summer our neighbors got a pool, and... well. I guess you can say that it turned into a swamp. Lots of little larvae hatching in it. The little bloodsuckers are batting at the windows trying to get in. I really... I mean I really hope they drain it soon. Help...

Oh. Also I got a new desk.
It's a secretary desk. When the door folds down, these two decorative wood things slide out at the same time to catch it! It's so mechanical and elegant. For some reason though, the hutch that goes on top of it hasn't arrived yet. Hmmm...

STOP ORDERING THINGS! SUPPORT THE ECONOMY! HARVEST MOON!

I took my college english placement test on Monday. I was quite forbidding afterwards, so much so that I managed to get into a squabble with Beanpole. It was because I wanted us to get gas, and he said he had enough. (That is quite debatable, though, because his gas gauge does not work at all. So he finds out how full the car is entirely by the mileage guage, and a few months ago his car died when he still had 'sufficient' mileage. What a beanpole! I should secretly fuel up his car with a gas can when he's not looking! Yeah, that'll show him!)

I forgot to mention that I got a wii for my birthday in May. With Samba de Amigo and Rune Factory Frontier. And wii sports.
The maracas that I bought for samba de amigo were crap though, so I'll return those. Also that game is sort of visually frightening. (But that's ok.)

Peanut butter cookies today.

I found out that I have all my finals tomorrow. And it's mostly my fault for scheduling my schedule all... Well... dumbly.

I still have half a powerpoint presentation to put together and a posterboard for interior design to glue stuffs to. And other things.

... I know! You don't want to hear about school! You want to hear about my amazing life!

Today beanpole forgot to wear a belt, so now I'm going to buy him another belt as punishment. That way when I go broke from buying belts for him, he'll feel bad. And remember to wear a belt.

My room's still a mess.

My plants are growing outside. (Whoa.)

I ordered some lily of the valley plants to plant outside my window. (Redundant.)

I want to take a nap. :C

Legs are so weak right now. I've been practicing for the past 5 hours, but my dance routine still flows like crap downhill. I always just blank out in the middle of steps, and then have to trudge over to the ipod and reset the song. I am never taking another dance class again.
The other day, in dance class, when we turned in our critique papers for the dance performance we saw (I saw Footloose), I lent some people a mini stapler for their loose (no pun intended) papers, and the instructor somehow ended up asking me if I was going to take another dance class. I freaked out pretty much and was just all "Ahh, I don't know!"
Then she asked me the same round of questions again. The latter being the last one.
"So are you going to take another dance class?"

HELL NO!

Of course... I didn't say that. That'd be rude. I just reiterated the same answer as last time, but with increasing nervousness.
This class no doubt has helped me get a little more fit, but it was definitely not worth 1 measly unit.

The only other thing I have to physically work for is my drama class's performance on Friday. I think I got my lines down, but you know. I always just blank out randomly when under pressure. Like in Glass Mask, I can't show my true self on stage! I have to struggle to keep on my glass mask on! ...I want to watch some more of that animoo, but I got too much work to do. :C
But I should also repair my prop. (It is a fake plastic dagger, bent and inserted onto a red, blood-splot shaped patch of tape. So it looks like it's stuck in me. I made it myself. I sort of play an undead character.)

Bok bok bok

Dedicated Mom Bird

Buried her today... English budgies really do have short life-spans...

She left some eggs, but they seem to be clear (infertile.)
I left them in a container, wrapped in an old nylon stocking, under my shelf light. Just to try and keep them warm, in case they aren't clear eggs. May take them to a family friend's, he'll be able to tell if they're fertile.
She was my mom's bird, and I've just been sort of numbed about this kind of thing since Tsuki left. So I dunno how I feel.
